  • Adrian Ishak is an aspiring self-taught young Indonesian chef who experiments with scientific technique so he can bring the complexities and heritage of traditional Indonesian food into the world of contemporary “fun dining”. Adrian was awarded as Chef of The Year 2012 by Tempo magazine, and his establishment, Namaaz Dining, is a reservation-only restaurant that serves a progressive Indonesian degustation menu. It is described as Indonesia’s first molecular gastronomy restaurant. It has now the Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence as 2015 winner and sits at the top among 6000 restaurants in Jakarta.
