  • The name Odie Djamil should sound no strange in the pastry industry. He is the Chef Founder of Maple & Oak, and has a wide variety of other businesses in the industry, such as catering and being a consultant at restaurants across Tangerang, Makassar and Bali. Having been inspired by his mother and grandmother, he then decided to explore his passion in culinary even further in 2006, especially in pastry. He began his career in the pastry industry as a Pastry Chef at Coquelicot le Bistro in 2008. He became interested in Parisien Macarons, before doing 13 failed attempts. He succeeded at the 14th attempt and was given the nickname "The Macaron Guy".
